Harmers of London has sold stamps for over 130 years. Our first auction entirely devoted to philately was held in 1918. Since then, Harmers has become the point of reference for philatelists from all over the world.

Coins 

Harmers expanded into numismatics after joining the Bolaffi Group. Bolaffi have helped support the growth of the numismatic department with their decades of experience and expertise. Harmers first coin auction achieved in excess of £1m.

Thanks to their intrinsic value and collectable appeal, coins have remained somewhat immune to the uncertainty of the wider world, which adds to their value to collectors and investors alike.

Bolaffi can trace its history back to 1890 when Alberto Bolaffi founded a philatelic business in Turin, Italy. In 2018 Bolaffi expanded into Spain and Great Britain through the purchase of the auction houses Soler y Llach and Harmers of London.
